fifty years of holding
Bricky was laid into the back wall of a terraced house in Croydon in the spring of 1974. He has not moved since. Through three recessions, two currency crises and every bull run anyone can name, Bricky held the exact same position and returned the exact same amount: nothing.
People kept turning up to explain to him that he was doing it wrong. Bricky listened to all of them. Bricky did not move.
There is no roadmap. There is no utility. There is no upside and we would like to be very clear about that. What there is, is a brick that has never once pretended to be anything else, which is more than most of your portfolio can say.
